Continuing to HONOR, CELEBRATE and INSPIRE our women!
March 1, 2011 – In honor of Women’s History Month, Petals-N-Belles, Inc. is excited to announce its first twitter campaign. Proving that there is Power is Every Tweet, PNB has enlisted our friends and supporters to tweet for a cause and not only raise awareness about Women’s History Month but continue to inspire our young women and ourselves by sharing, through tweeting, the stories of the empowering and inspiring women who have come before us, stand with us and are to come after us.
Running from March 1st-March 31st we invite you to join us during the campaign and tweet about women in history and women who have inspired you. Joining the movement is easy! Follow these quick steps and you’ll join the growing list of campaign tweeters.
Joining is easy!
STEP 1: Follow @PetalsNBelles on Twitter and send us a message letting us know you’ve joined the campaign.
STEP 2: Pick a Wednesday (March 9th,16th, 23rd or 30th) to make your tweet day*.
STEP 3: Let your followers know you’re apart of the campaign (ie. “In celebration of amazing and inspiring women, past & present, I’m joining @PetalsNBelles for the Women’s History Month Twitter Campaign”).
STEP 4: Using the #PetalsNBelles #WHM hashtags, get tweeting! Tell us who inspires you and why. Tweet quotes by inspirational women, @ friends and followers who encourage, empower and inspire you and the communities around you.
STEP 5: Encourage others to join the movement (ie. “Join the movement! Follow @PetalsNBelles & help empower, inspire and cultivate today’s young women. http://bit.ly/ghNNeC)
Petals-N-Belles is committed to helping young women discover their greatness, exercise their right to dream boldly, set goals and achieve them. We are reminded of how great we can become because of the greatness we have already achieved.
*While it is up to participants how many times they’d like to tweet throughout the day, we hope that participants will produce at least 15 tweets or reserve their tweet Wednesday for WHM tweets only. This will allow for greater impact and give us more inspirational messages to RT and share.
