A relentless dreamer, tireless advocate, and non-conformist with innovative creativity, Damali Elliott is leading a movement to empower girls around the world.

After enduring a self-admitted “crisis of purpose,” Damali left a successful young career in entertainment public relations to fulfill her true calling as a mentor and leader for at-risk girls.

Damali has been a featured speaker at Life is Beautiful Music Festival and the Wealth and Giving Forum. She has given keynote addresses at The Academy of Social Action, Boys & Girls High School Health Summit for GIRLS and PS/IS 262 El Hajj Malik Shabazz Elementary School. Damali has also inspired audiences at Montessori Progressive Learning Center, Bronx Lighthouse Charter School, and New York University; in addition to being an adjunct professor at Medgar Evers College for Nonprofit Management.

She has been featured in ESSENCE magazine, on FoxNews.com, CNBC.com, and Vibe.com, and on News12 Brooklyn and New York City Media.

To date Damali has raised over a quarter million dollars in her quest to empower girls and propel Nova (formerly Petals-N-Belles) to the forefront of the nonprofit community.
